This is not a strip club!...

This is not a strip club! I repeat, this is not a strip club! I'll explain at the end.

The building has been around for awhile and had a couple different names and owners and Nick's Cabaret is the newest to the list. I had been hearing good things about it for awhile so I finally decided to make a visit. First off they had uniform security guards that pat you down at the door and also use metal detectors. I don't know if this made me feel safe or like I was someplace I had no business being. Can't say I've ever been searched at any other club in the city, not even ones in the same neighborhood as this one but oh well. Nothing has changed about the layout from the last owners. Big open space with plenty of seating and three bars but I don't think they ever have all three running at the same time. There were only about three girls working that night and none of them seemed very enthusiastic. Fortunately I wasn't really attracted to any of them so I didn't pay them much attention. I took a seat at the bar and the bartender turned out to be a girl that used to dance at X not to far from here. She was easily the hottest girl in the club that night. She didn't have much competition but she really was hot. She remembered me and we talked for awhile and then without even having to ask she said she still dances and we could go to the back if I wanted. Of course I accepted the offer and we went to the private dance room. The private room is not very private, its a big open room with a bunch of couches along the walls so anybody else getting a dance at the same time can see you and the girl your with. Anyway she strips down to her bra and panties and sits on my lap but before she gets started she tells me that she's not allowed to get naked because the club lost their license! I thought about it for a second then remembered that none of the girls on stage took anything off either. Like I said, she's hot and she gives a good dance but what's the point of going to a strip club if they don't strip? Now that I know what I'm getting into I'll still probably go back, just not often. The club is pretty low key and quiet (probably because of all the security) its a decent place to go have a drink if you don't want to be harassed by girls hustling you for dances all night. When I'm in the mood for the strip club experience I'll go to Columbus Gold. When I just want to hangout with the hot bartender I'll come to Nick's.
