I came here for the first time after discovering that Scandals had finally been shut down. I didn't want to go home empty handed, so I fi ally decided to check the pkace out, after hearing my friend recommend it following a few visits.

Man, I should've listened to him sooner. Show Palace is great! In terms of decor, it's up there with Club Lust and Riviera as the most aesthetically posh spots in the city. In terma of dancers, it's also pretty elite, with a hot mix of white, latina, and black dancers.

NY's bizarre, outmoded laws mean that, as a full nude strip joint, there's no liquor served here (making it less of a titty bar and more of a pussy juice). Also, due to its large size, the place can feel awkward during slow hours. "Slow" varies here, as I've been told that Show Palace - which for some reason stays open until 8am - doesn't actually get popping until 3am or so. I've never been at a club that late, but their Saturday 2am $2 lapdance specials make it tempting (although I'm sure giving lap dances for the cost of a pre-9/11 metrocard ride was not the dancer's idea).
