I am usually impressed by SF clubs, but this one left me puzzled. The room itself is a long rectangle with a narrow T-shaped catwalk in the middle of the far end. Seats line either side of it and there are rows facing the stage from the the rest of the house all the way up to the front door. The performers are not consistent in their skills nor showmanship. Some are playful and smiling, but most seem unhappy to be there. There is not a lot of energy or spark in the room. It's a dead ball, at least on the day I went. And the private dance policy was different from other clubs to the point where I just didn't quite get how it worked. When I did finally get a "private" dance (in a couch room that was open and shared) it was very uninspired. The only attractive dancer there was just not into her job. Which I understand, but is not what I pay for. I didn't stay more than a half hour. It was just a dower experience. Your visit may be entirely different, but mine was pretty grim.
