Checked out 939 on Saturday night...

Checked out 939 on Saturday night with some pals. I've come to understand that the best looking (and youngest) dancers are here. I have yet to check out Rock Za and Club Femme Nu which had similar ratings on TUSCL. However, the dancers I spoke with at the club said they had all danced at these 2 other clubs and did not think the dancer quality was as high. So they said....could have been of course to keep us there. But I felt like they were being honest. Anyway, I'll check out the other 2 and write a review soon as I'm here in Honolulu for another 2 weeks.

So the club is in a decent part of town. All the clubs are apparently around the Kapioloni/Ala Moana section just over the Alawai canal from the touristy section of Waikiki. You can easily walk between them all.

The interior was so-so. From what I heard though, it's one of the nicer decor clubs here. Certainly much larger than the other 2 mentioned earlier. There are 3 stages in the middle of the club, interspersed with a small table between and on each end. The outer section are all big 8-person booths. They looked nice and comfy but apparently they're all roped off and reserved for only those that order "bottle service". Hmmm....what a waste as nobody we saw all night every ordered bottle service. So what they were left with was 40-50 patrons all jammed in the middle of the place around the 3 main stages (or there were maybe 10 bar stools at the back bar).
