Stopped by Cabaret on a Tuesday...

Stopped by Cabaret on a Tuesday evening. Outside is an overweight Mexican guy who collects your $10.00 cover charge and places a white band on your wrist, he will also cut the band off on your way out of the club. Why a dumpy club like this feels the need to put a wrist band on customers is beyond me. Anyway, walked in and this place is dark, really dark. I was one of 3 customers there with about 7 ladies. This is a nude club so, no beer, or liquor at the bar. I did not know this being new to Texas, so I ended up ordering a Red Bull. There is some Mexican guy who comes to your table and offers to go buy some beer for you, but I passed and just sat with the red Bull. Lots of tables in the club, a little too close together for my liking, but the place was empty of customers anyway. Got my Red Bull and sat down. Immediately approached by an older Asian dancer. She asked for a dance, I declined and she moved on, no pressure. I sat for a bit and was asked to get a dance by pretty much every girl in the club within my first 10 minutes there. Luckily, no one seemed upset when I declined. One stage in the club, it appeared each girl danced 2 songs played by the bartender. First song was in their stripper attire, second was nude. Extras are readily available here, and the girls have no problem telling you what's on the menu. After being asked for a dance by all the ladies here, I ended up taking up a lady named Yvette up on her offer. The private dances are done in the main room, in booths along the wall. Not private, but this place is so dark and seedy, you really can't see what is going on in the side booths anyway. Yvette spoke broken English, said she was from Honduras. Anyway, after the first dance, we struck a deal and 3 dances later, I was satisfied and she was 80 roses richer. I admit, I kinda like this place. Cabaret is a dump of a club, dark, dirty, in a run down strip mall, the girls are cheap, easy, and not that great looking, but not nasty. I much prefer a seedy club on the bad side of town over a nice club downtown. So, this is my kinda place. I won't go often, but I will be back.
