I had lived in Wilmington for 15 yrs so I pretty much should have known what to expect out of either of these clubs. After a 3 yrs absent of being in the Port City, I was in town for the night. I went by Pure Gold but it was closed on Tues nights this time of year. That tells you how good their business is. So I went to Crazy Horse. Arrived a little after 7 and was told no dancers were there. I do give kudos to the door girl for telling me that upfront. So I hung out awhile at Hooters, and went back to the CH. Cover was $15 for a non-member. I entered, got a $2 beer, settled in at the bar. Nothing had changed much in my 3 yr absent. The strippers, management, and bar staff all act like they are too good to be working in a strip club. One blonde with a bit of extra padding danced, then a few more, but none that I would rate higher than a 6. A slim blonde with big boobs kept parading back and forth between the dressing room and bar getting herself a drink several times. I kept waiting for her to go on stage, but they kept putting up new arrival girls, but the blonde never went on stage while I was there. I decided that I had all the boredom I could stand and called it a night. I do not see how these 2 clubs stay in business in Wilmington with the poor quality of dancers, not to mention, how poorly its managed. I do not recommend either of these clubs. My advice if you are looking for a decent strip club drive the 1 hr to Myrtle Beach.
