It's the last week of existence...
It's the last week of existence for this Portland institution, so I thought I'd stop in and pay my respects.
I haven't been in here for almost ten years, and not much has changed- it's a small dive with one bar rack, one stage, one pool table, one server who'll remind you of your grandmother, and no pole. The contractors tend tended to look like extras from Portlandia, pale with ink, metal, little makeup, and no surgical implants. Stage shows weren't acrobatic, but they managed to put on a good show anyway. As for lap dances, uh... I have no idea why that's in the description for the place.
Drinks were stiff, service was quick, and the venue was clean enough for my taste. Lighting and music are so-so, with a heavy emphasis on red floodlights and rock and roll.
