This was my first visit to Downtown Cabaret. I stopped in a recent Friday night with a friend. The decor is the best in the Twin Cities; very close to the best Vegas clubs I've been to. The building is fairly large and there was ample seating available.

There appeared to be three distinct sections of the club: the bar area, an eating area, and the stage area, which was separated into a main area and smaller VIP area. The main stage is very large and very closely resembled a fashion runway. Unlike, other Twin Cities' clubs, there wasn't very much action on the main stage tip round. It appeared that the main point of the main stage was for dancers to show their wares. Part of this is likely the fact that it's a topless club only. The topless clubs in Vegas don't have much action on the tip round either. Moreover, there wasn't a lot of contact on the tip round when a customer did make the trip up there. If you're into the stage show, this probably isn't the club for you.

The lap dances weren't stellar either. I got a lot of air dances, which were definitely not worth the $20 paid for them. If you're a lap dance guy, I'm not sure this is the place for you either.
