Its been a while since my last review of SR, but I've been there a number of times since then. There's been a fair amount of change over the course of a few months. There seems to be new engagement. There is no longer a valet at night, which means no charge to park (not sure what the guy below is referring to about parking fee's) even at night. The cover is still $10 after 7pm every day, not like most other area clubs charging $5 on weeknights and $10 on weekends. Drinks are reasonably priced in the daytime, $3 domestics and $5 call's (stuff like Patron and Johny blue are more), after 8 the prices basically double. Dances are the same idea: $10 for lap dances in the dedicated dance area, that goes up to $25 after 8 - except on Tuesdays where its $10 all night. 30 min rooms are available for $75/125 plus at least $250 for the girl - but not many girls push for them and even fewer do anything in them you'd want to pay for anyway. Gone is the 15 minute $125 area, they knocked out the wall separating the section club they were using for that. The higher mileage girls tend to prefer that side of the room as its much more secluded. The lighting hasn't changed, its still fucking terrible. Its dark as shit with crappy moving & flashing spot lighting that spends as much time in your eyes more as it does on the stage.

As far as the girls, they've changed a bit too. They're on average older and thicker than they were a year ago. I prefer younger, slimmer girls. They have gotten better with diversity though, there's usually more than the one token black girl in the sea of white asses. There's been a handful of black dancers, with the more typical black stripper bodies. There's also been some fresh off the boat latina's coming up from Miami or further south. It's still primarily american/european girls though. It's technically a nude club, but over time more and more girls have stopped taking off their bottoms. As I'm told the management no longer fines girls for not getting naked like they used to. It's not just girls being too lazy to take it off, girls who are being tipped well also are keeping them on. Maybe 1 in 5 girls gets naked these days. That said, attitudes are generally pretty good and hustle/ROB factor is very low. For the most part, the girls will approach and chat before inquiring about a dance or drink. Few will argue when politely declining. Dances are average mileage, even the $10 ones are good. Not a lot of extra's, but pretty good dances.

I still enjoy going here, not nearly as much as I used to, but its worth visiting if you are in the area. I find SR & Cheetah to strike a good balance between trying to be upscale like nearby Monroes and Rachels and being trashy like Flashdance and T's.
