Good news, bad news. Good...
Good news, bad news. Good news first. The club has some nice looking girls. Bad news. Close to everything else on the early Sunday night I was there. Drove through here on my Tour of San Diego and didn't stay long. Got in for free after dark because nobody was manning the door, and considering the place was dead empty I'm not sure I'd gotten hit with a cover anyway. So there was me sitting along the back wall and two Swedish couples up at the tip rail. The stage shows were pretty tame, but when the place is empty you can't really put that on the dancers if the energy level is low. On second thought, you can. I've seen clubs like Rio up in LA where girls still dance with heat to a near empty house. Plus I'd already been to Cheetahs and their show is a strong point. The stage is a decent size and not that high with mirrors across the back. Some dancers dropped by asking for dances and were polite when declined. A bunch of them were huddled on a large couch by the DJ booth watching the show. One gal (thin, petite with long jet black hair and several tats) who must've been as bored as I was sat down and proceeded to talk to me about anything and everything. Thinking back on it, she wasn't a bad chat. Got a Red Bull for her trouble and I dropped $20 for a 2 for 1. Dance was all air and the lap area makes a phone booth look big. No upsell at all. Strange vibe. Nothing against the girl. She seemed cool enough. Sat back down and started talking again. Looks like from other reviews that more could be had here, but wasn't interested in finding it that night. Left a short time later headed elsewhere...
