So I've recently started hitting clubs up on day shift. Acrop was my next stop. Acropolis is one of those Portland clubs that have been around forever, it is known for it's good steak. Acropolis opens at 7am, I don't believe any other club in Portland is open that early. I arrived here a little after 5.

As far as the looks of the place, it could use a little renovation. It definitely has a dive bar feel to it. Most customers there were eating food and drinking beer as opposed to tipping the dancers. The drink prices were average. So apparently there is no DJ until 9pm. So when I was there, the girls were picking their songs on the jukebox. There are four stages, they had three going when I was there. The stageshow is my favorite part, some of the girls really put effort into it. Some of the girls get off the stage and grind on your lap, titties in your face, bras thrown on you, doing tricks with the money etc, much much better value than the lapdances.

Speaking of the lapdances, I would advise you not to get any. They are done right besides where the guy checks your ID at the door, not that private. They are 20 bucks and it is strictly an air dance all the time every time. I don't know why the club is so strict on the lapdances, it's probably the strictest club as lap dances go in Portland. You get much more contact on stage just tipping a few bucks. So once again skip the lapdances, it's not worth your money.
