In town for work and stopped...

In town for work and stopped here after dinner a bit after 8, since there seems nothing better to do in the area. $10 cover and $5 for a soft drink. No alcohol, which was a bummer and I wasn't expecting it. The place looks clean enough but is too well lit that it has a convenient store kind of vibe. 1 girl one stage. Another in the private dance section giving a dance. The private dance area is so brightly lit it's a bit blinding to look at. Picture your dentist's office if that helps. Not sure if they had some run in with local laws but this is a bit ridiculous. The girls were about 6 or 7s. There were a couple more girls waiting for their turn to get on stage and sitting at the bar with their purses and stuff while looking fairly uninterested. Then there's this other girl eating her take out dinner at the bar so that half of the rooms smells pretty ripe. The owner really should have set up a place backstage for employees to eat. Maybe with a few drinks I would have happily paid for a dance but the juice wasn't doing much so I left pretty soon. I wouldn't write this place off completely since it was a weekday evening and pretty early, but this certainly wasn't a great experience by any measure.
