I'm from Toronto. This is the first time I've been to Diamonds in Edmonton. Arrived at 10pm and there was less than 10 girls. Being from Toronto girls usually like to chat you up a bit before asking for dances. I was sitting stage side and all the girls were "wanna dance" girls. If you say "no, thanks", the majority of the girls will ask why not. The music level is deafening stage side, so its very difficult to have a conversation. More than half the girls have implants. Drinks are cheaper than Toronto by a few bucks. Girls are usually on stage for what seemed to be half an hour. They also have a loonie toss game after their stage set where the dancer either licks a loonie and sticks it on herself, or she rolls up a poster between her legs for you to toss your loonies into. I got a poster after sinking about 20 loonies in. The girl came around later and signed my poster!! Played the loonie game with another girl and got a magnet of her. Saw only 3 girls on stage in the 2.5 hours I was there. More girls showed up as the night went on. Bought a private dance in the VIP. Its a small room with a curtain for privacy. It was mainly an air dance. Disappointing from what I'm used to in Toronto, but the songs are a couple minutes longer. I would prefer to spend my time in the Toronto clubs, but since I was out of town it was an ok experience. Will try another club on my next visit.
