This may not count as a real review, as it has no juicy details and was generally a failure, but I felt this info needed to be put out there for future monger reference. I went to Scores last week (November 14) and had a fairly miserable time. First, I had been given passes for free cover but was told they are only applicable Sunday-Thursday. The back of the card says $5 off on Friday and Saturdays, but they still refused to honor their own card. This should have been a huge red flag. The cover was $20/ person which I think was steep, given that you are going to pay for overpriced drinks and donate much tip money to dancers, valets, shot girls, and piss room attendants. Anyway, I go inside and there are a lot of girls there. Many were VERY hot…take that with a grain of salt and consider my Hamilton bar upbringing. Most inmates at a women's prison would probably rate an 8 from me! I talked with one shorter haired brunette for a short time, and bought her 2 glasses of wine in that period. The wine was $8/ glass and Bud was $7/ bottle. I did a couple regular VIP dances with the girl and she went away with no mention of extras-my fault, not hers. I could have pressed the issue, but wanted to find someone else more open. I didn’t want her to stick around very long. No other dancers approached me. There were about 12 girls sitting at a table in the club around a big table just talking among themselves. I was there until after 12 midnight and they never left their huge round table. I said Hello to one of the managers. He clearly heard me because he was looking right at me, but he turned his head and walked away like I was an insignificant troll. With all the really good clubs in Detroit, this treatment of a paying customer is unacceptable. Anyway it was a miserable experience. I had much cash to spend for a change and no one came by to talk to me, even though I paid a ridiculous cover and ridiculous drink prices. Scores is definitely a place to avoid. I won't be back.
