In the Bay area for one of my usual conferences. This review is for Friday and Saturday. As there doesn't seem to be anything in Oakland (besides AMPs), I had to drive over to San Francisco. Wasn't thrilled because like any city, I knew parking would be a hassle. Club does offer valet but I ended up in nearby garages for $12 bucks each night. I had read reviews to decide on Hustler. Also, having enjoyed previous Hustler clubs I thought I'd try here. San Fran. also seems to have their own version of Baltimore's Block as one block over from Hustler, on Broadway St. was a slew of clubs so if this didn't work out, I had options - especially since I put my car in a garage.

Found out later and had an inkling about it that all or most of these clubs, including Hustler, are owned by the Deja Vu people.

$15 dollar cover both nights. Not so bad. Club is downstairs and smallish but nicely appointed if sometimes feeling a little dated. I found the floor seating rather crowded, booths on the side reserved for the 2 for $60 dances. A $20 dance was at your chair and a 3 for $100 in a more secluded space behind the DJ. Private rooms too, start at $300 for a half hour. The price levels came with increasing "participation." The $20 dances I saw around me were mostly air. I got a couple of the 2 for 60 which were mostly one way grind. The 3 for 100 though offered me pretty full participation, YMMV. Didn't go into the rooms. Dances are all bikini - girls only get topless on the main stage since this is an alcohol club. Annoying, but a consolation I realized is that the songs seemed long than the usual.
