Stopped in here with an out...

Stopped in here with an out of town friend who was on a business trip thru the area. It was the first time I had returned to Al's in about 4 years. They now have a new smaller bar off to the right as you enter the main room. On this Tuesday evening, this was the only bar in use, the main bar was closed. We were told this when we entered, after paying the $5 cover. There are only about 8 stools at this bar, but we were fortunate to find seats. Bottle domestics were $4.50, did not sample anything else, although one dancer drink was $9.00. Private dances are in small booths, fee of $25/song. Dancer quality this evening was above average appearance wise, below average mingling wise. The dancers did their thing on stage and basically parked themselves somewhere afterward, no circulating the room for trips or offering dances, which is the reason for my lower dancer rating. Only one came over and chatted with my friend and offered a dance. She also offered me one later, which rated an 8. Overall a nice place to spend a few hours enjoying the sights.
