Penthouse has a reputation for being the best strip club in metro Detroit but I was disappointed at the talent and value in a recent afternoon visit. I would estimate at least 20 dancers on duty but the talent was pretty limited-- mostly 7s with a few chubby 5's and a few attractive 8s. I'm perfectly happy with a session with a sexy 7 but the price point for some VIP fun seemed way out of line with the other Detroit clubs that feature similar talent. I had several dancers open with $400 quotes for VIP fun. I know better than to accept a first quote but I was surprised when three consecutive dancers declined a 200 offer. In two instances, I asked the dancer who had rejected a 200 offer if they were likely to find an offer that matched their original quote. They both said yes. But then I watched them over the following hour and neither dancer got a nibble from a customer, much less a full paying trip to the VIP. The logic escapes me-- I'm a bit older but in good shape, well dressed and reasonably attractive so I assume they were not singling me out for higher prices. Maybe they were waiting for a regular? Or maybe there is no logical explanation as to why a dancer would decline a $200 offer for 20-30 minutes of VIP fun in hopes of a more lucrative offer materializing. I suppose they don't understand the meaning of the old adage, "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" (no pun intended, most of the dancers have shaved their bush).

I eventually negotiated a VIP session with Tiffany for 200--- she first asked for 350 but clearly agreed to 200 at the bar. We got comfortable in one of the larger VIP rooms at the Penthouse. She waited until I was nude and she had my hard cock in her hand to announce that she couldn't provide the agreed upon services for just 200 but would require 300. I reminded her of our original deal and she wouldn't budge on her price demands. I terminated our session and paid her for a single dance. This felt like a bait and switch scam that she probably pulls on others so be warned to avoid this dancer. By the way, I seldom include a dancer's names in a review (even stage names) but I do make an exception to that policy when I encounter a bait and switch or other rip off scheme.

I left the Penthouse and relocated to BT's where I found a willing private dance partner at a decent price point. Maybe I caught Penthouse on a bad day but if this is typical of the Penthouse, potential customers should lower your quality expectations and raise your budget for the Penthouse. Better yet, try out the other Detroit clubs that seem to offer similar talent but at a reasonable price point.
