Have gone to this club two...

Have gone to this club two times over the last two months during which time it seems that the management has shifted from a pretty young lady who was the bartender to this big overweight dude. With this new guy the club has changed for the worse in my opinion. I usually go on a weeknight and get there around 7:45 and on both occasions recently when I went into the club, music was playing but there was no dj actively working it...think he was at the bar, no girls dancing,and the girls that were there were in the smoking area out back or at the bar and stayed there for probably about 45 minutes or so having a talk fest among themselves. Now admittedly there were few customers but if you are supposed to be in business for some purpose then you should be delivering that service. Finally about 9:00 pm the dj started to make a half-assed effort to get the girls dancing and finally got a rotation started. Also with the new "manager" he has a new black bouncer/floor guy that takes his job too seriously such that he watches floor dances like a hawk so little fun can be had with them and worse when you go for a VIP he tries to keep it an air dance as well...if I am paying 4x the price for a VIP it should be 4x better IMO. Don't know if some are slipping the bouncer money or buying him drinks or whatever but his "discipline" does not seem to be meted out uniformly. This night a cute girl with a great body who was a late arrival finally did come over and I a had a couple of table and VIP dances which were not too bad although lacking the contact that I like. While I realize that NC law is pretty specific as to what can go on in a club, there needs to be some latitude so that the patrons have a good time and want to return. Even though I have been going to this place for years, I may give it one more try mostly since it is convenient and well priced, but if it the experience continues to be like it has the last couple of times I have been there, I will have to go elsewhere. This place has been more of a miss than a hit lately IMO...as always YMMV.
