Am quite a regular visitor to the Griffin in the sfternoons when it can be pleasantly quiet. There is not a queue for private dances and the girls you like have time to chat to you. I was in there last Tuesday when it was ridiculously quiet. Stage dances start at 13.10 but there has to be at least 4 customers. There was not the required 4 until 13.40 and so the first dance went on. 4 minutes later, dance over, and 2 customers left. By 1400 there was still just 2, me and 1 other. I then decided to give up, leaving 1 customer. One of my favourites was there, but she has little English, so I just had the 2 private dances with her, £10 each, air dance unfortunately in this place. I sometimes wonder why the strip pubs open in the afternoons early in the week, but then I suppose they still get the dancers' fees even if they don't sell much alcohol.
