For a few different reasons I won't be strip clubbing for awhile, so I decided to try one of the hole in the wall dives I haven't been to before I went on my sabbatical. Plus I knew a stripper friend that works there, so that made it that much easier to come in. Shimmers is not in the best part of town, but this was afternoon, so I wasn't really worried.

I walked in and I was actually kind of impressed by the looks of the place. The stages looked nice, I believe there were two or three stages. Shimmers is relatively good spaced. There were no bouncers this afternoon, there was also no DJ, the girls used a jukebox to pick their songs, I believe that's the first time I've ever seen that. I got a glass of Coors Light for $3.50.

As far as the girls, they weren't as bad looking as I thought they were gonna be. The girl I came to see is a 8, there were a couple of 6's, and the rest of them were in 4-5 range. I didn't see any black girls, pretty much all white girls. They looked to be in their late twenties to late thirties.
