Night Trips is a nice, if...

Night Trips is a nice, if small, club. By and large the dancers are the prettiest that I have seen in OKC. However, I cannot leave this review on a positive note, because the prices are so f***ing ridiculous.

I found a pretty blonde girl and asked her for a dance. After we got seated and arranged she told me that regular, hands off, dances were $20 apiece and that special naughty dances, limited hands on, were $40. $40 for exactly the same kind of dance that is available at other nearby clubs for $20. Let me be clear, $20 is too much money for a dance and $40 is ridiculous. You already know that the dance is going to last for about 3 1/2 minutes. That means that this "naughty dance" is costing more than $10 per minute. Other than medical care, I don't know of anything that costs $10 per minute.

Think about what you could buy with that $40. You could get a cheap microwave that would serve you for years. You could buy about 15 lbs. of hamburger which would feed a family of three for more than a week. You could buy a pretty good socket set at Sears. But that's only the beginning of the problem. Let's say that you purchase three naughty dances instead of one. Three dances would come up to a little over 10 minutes of entertainment. That same 10 minutes of entertainment could purchase you enough gas to drive to Dallas and back twice. That same 10 minutes of entertainment could purchase 2 1/2 months of cable television. That same 10 minutes could purchase a figgin' sewing machine at Wal-Mart that would last for 10 years.
