I had a disappointing visit here...

I had a disappointing visit here Saturday about nine p.m. After paying five dollars to get in, I was dismayed that there was no stage rotation of dancers and only an empty stage to look at. Now I understand some clubs don't pick up until later in the evening but it's pretty standard in the Indy clubs I go to that they don't charge an entrance fee if there are no girls dancing. I only spotted two girls the hour I was there. There was one semi-attractive one who scowled at me and then took a delivery pizza back to the dressing room and who I didn't see the whole rest of the time. There was another very unattractive one who wouldn't leave when I politely didn't engage in attempted conversation on her part. This lasted half an hour! I finally told her that if she didn't leave I would walk out and then she got angry and huffy and stalked off. Then I complained to the waitress about being charged to sit in front of an empty stage for an hour. Instead of offering to pass my complaint on to the manager or showing a smidgeon of sympathy, she just shrugged and said that wasn't her call. You would think the staff there would notice that I was the only customer there at nine on a Saturday night (the busiest night for most clubs) except for the usual three or four local barflies up at the bar and draw some conclusion that they were doing something wrong but I guess that is beyond them.
