I was there on a Thursday...

I was there on a Thursday last week. Cover is still $15 to get in but beer has gone up to $7.50. This is the 3 time in the last 2 years they have raised the beer price. At least the dance prices are still $20. It was slower than usual for a Thursday night. There were plenty of ladies there but many were occupied most of the night. This place is a great club but sometimes it can take a while to get the attention of a dancer you like. I have stopped sitting down waiting for the girls to come to me an gotten more proactive and asked for dances. You cannot always depend on a girl coming back that you tip on stage. I got several dances from 3 different girls. Of course YMMV, SJ continues to be a good club for laps. I do think the quality of dances has gone down over the years but it is still my favorite place in Houston. Laid back and always a fun time. Enjoy.
