I was in Doral on business...

I was in Doral on business for a couple nights, and holy moly do I regret not driving further out to one of the Miami area's more famous, classier clubs. I'm a white male in his mid 20s who has lived his whole life in Florida, but not Miami. I can read some Spanish, have taken it in middle school, high school and college, but I stuck out like a sore thumb. Many dancers did not talk to me beyond asking "propina?" (tip). I get Miami is a very international city, and I love latinas, but I was still in for a culture shock. This was a radically different experience from Dean's Gold in North Miami in every way imaginable. It is clear to me that BT is for blue collar Hispanic men who like to drink beer and check out big asses. And good for them, every club has it's loyal customers and it's good business to cater to the local demographics. I will give the BT women some credit, it's a customer friendly VIP experience if you catch my drift. But if you're a white guy who isn't fluent in Spanish, like me, don't go in there expecting to be chatted up or have the chance to get to know any of these girls. You will be asked for a trip, possibly a dance, and that's it. Cleanliness and comfort is not this club's specialty. And my god is the music loud.
