Stopped at the driftwood on a weekday night in august. I had never been to a club in NC, so i figured I needed to check this out and by the reviews, driftwood seamed to be the place to go.

I entered the club and headed towards the bar. I was called back to the door by a mildly intoxicated customer that had been talking to the girl behind the door counter. Long story short, since the club receives more revenue from the dancers than alcohol, it needs to be a "Private" club which required a membership. I signed up for the membership with fake name and address (actually the ex wifes boyfriends info!) and paid a small amount (i think it was $10) and got in. If i came back to the club i could get in for about $4 the next time because I was a member. Pretty strange for me.

Went into the stage area and saw a few dancers walking around, but most were sitting with customers or friends. I grabbed a beer and sat down.
