First visit to Bourbon street and...

First visit to Bourbon street and I really didn't know what to expect. It kinda reminded me of a small section of the Vegas strip. On the cab ride over we asked the driver where to go and he said the penthouse. After walking and drinking for a little while we asked a server and he said the penthouse also. Two recommendations and free passes, I guess we're going to the penthouse! Nice looking club and a lot bigger than I was expecting from the outside. Center dance tables and a couple smaller dance tables by the bar. Also and elevated VIP room but I never bothered to check it out. Seemed like you got just as much fun on the regular floor. Lots of shot girls that were actually attractive working the floor. Horrible watered down shots of course but they were only $4 and they were body shots too so I had a couple. The dancers were pretty good looking too but it was hard to get their attention. I was kinda expecting this seeing as it is a tourist spot so the girls are more cautious about who they waste their time with. Lots of older men (probably established frequenter customers) hogging up the talent but if you've earned it I'm not mad. I finally did get a dance late in the evening with a girl named Rogue. She was tied up all night but we kept exchanging looks at each other. When her group finally left she came over and we did a couple dances. She was fun and I'm on vacation so who cares if I had to wait awhile. Next time I'm in New Orleans I'll definitely come back.
