Haven't been to this place in...
Haven't been to this place in several years so I decided to take a drive down and see if anything had changed, it had not. When driving up club shares building with an adult book store, which is to the right. Entrance into club is going to cost you $20 cover as long as nothing is going on in the area, if Penn State is playing that weekend I have been told cover is sometimes as much as $50 depending on who they are playing. Club is BYOB, and no smoking allowed inside. Club floor itself is very nice, stage is big, ceilings are tall, nice comfy chairs almost like small lazy boys, lots of neons and brass. The dancers are really hot, I mean really hot. Also, I don't think I saw any that appeared to be more than 22 or 23, and I will bet most are college girls. But, that being said, they expect you to tip VERY HEAVY while they are on stage. The night I was there, there were a few groups of college students throwing around a lot of money. They also including girls in there groups, and they all seamed to know most of the girls dancing, and most of the dancers spent most of their time dancing for them and didn't pay much attention to anyone's else. Could see into the VIP area from where I sat, and a few dances wheat on, but 2 bouncers sat in the VIP area the whole time watching what was going on. Was offered a couple of dances, but at $40 a song plus tip (and was told absolutely no touching on my part), I did not partake.
I remember and miss the old club that was on the hill, cheap dances, high mileage, friendly girls, and you could smoke. Club is now very similar now to going to a NYC strip club, high prices, low mileage, no smoking, and lots of attitude. But, if you are in State College and want to see strippers, this is pretty much your only option if you don't want to drive an hour or two. IMO, drive.
