Went to Showcase a few weeks...

Went to Showcase a few weeks ago to celebrate a buddy's birthday. Had heard cover was $10 before 10pm, but when we got there at 9:30, the guy told us it was $10 before 9, so we ended up paying $20 each to walk in the door. The club is pretty small, with one stage up front, a small lapdance area to the left, and a "concessions" stand at the other side of the room. I say concessions because they don't sell liquor or beer, so it's just water, Red Bull, and stuff. The area is in more of an industrial area that seems like it is off the beaten path, but it seemed pretty safe. The parking lot had plenty of spots when we arrived.

The dancers at Showcase are all right from a distance, but overall are stuck up way more than they should be. One black girl came over to me and asked for a dance. When I set my hand on her leg, she flipped out, gave me a dirty look, and walked away. A lot of the other girls are pretty old and it's clear that the hotter girls in the area prefer to dance elsewhere. The dances are $20/each and there is a no touching policy, so based on my past experience and what I saw this time, the air dances are definitely not worth a twenty. My friend got a couple dances since it was his birthday and said they were both terrible - wish I remembered the dancer names so I could post them on here.

Overall, Showcase is all right to visit every once in awhile given the lack of options to see white girls dancing in the area, but definitely not a spot to visit regularly. Will stick with my favorite PG county clubs where there is real bang for the buck.
