I was there on Friday the 15th of August and even though it says that the Paper Moon South Side opens opens at 11;00am it doesn't. The sign now says 12:00. When I entered, after having the bouncer check my ID (he said it was a Virginia ABC law, but Pure Pleasure must not have heard about it) I must have been the second customer of the day. The buffet is gone also, but the lunch menu from the kitchen is free until 2:00pm. After ordering a can of ginger ale (for $5 frickin' dollars) I said down at a table and waited. Finally one girl came out and got on stage and started to dance. This is a pastie bar, why I have no frickin' idea since PP is topless. The dance area is large with a bar at one end of the room. The stage itself is long so that more than one girl could work at the same time. About 10 minutes later the rest of the dancers came out and one made a bee-line toward me and sat down. She started with the usual what's your name, which I find strange. I would think she would introduce herself first, then ask. She did say her name was Lucy. AS we talked another dancer got on stage and started her three song routine. My lunch came and I started to eat. Lucy then went on stage and started her routine. Maybe because she was "with" me she took her top off. During my time there she was the only one who did so. After her three songs were finished she came back and sat down. When the DJ finally announced 2 for 1, I asked her how much. She said $50. WTF. That means singles are $50 also. She then told me they have a VIP room, a Champagne room. You can also get 10 minutes with a dancer for $100 or 15 minutes for $150. The pasties come off and there is some contact but I gather not too much. I did not avail myself. That was the only time that Lucy mentioned a private dance. Club seems very laid back.
