Visited Penthouse relatively early on a recent Saturday evening, so the club wasn't too crowded, though things were picking up by the time I left a few hours later. The club remains ritzy and in very good condition - which it should be given what they charge. Mandatory valet ($8-ish), cover ($10-15), and expensive drinks ($8-10 for a beer), so you're out a lot of cash before we even mention the strippers.

Thankfully, as far as pure physical appearance goes, the talent level on this evening was through the roof. Had been over at the Coli a month prior, and this was no contest; the eye candy at Penthouse was much higher. I tend to be picky, but on looks alone I would have been happy to take something 70% or so of the dancers to VIP. At most clubs (including that recent Coli visit), that percentage is somewhat less than 50%. However, many dancers have their regulars that they hang with. An infrequent visitor such as myself may find it hard to get attention. Even tipping someone on stage and asking them to stop by may not work.

When you do go upstairs to VIP, it's pricey. You might want to tip the bouncer - they seem grateful when I handed the $5. Then it's $25 for most dances, and a few dancers want more. Had a busty brunette offer up a 3-for-$100, and she was hot enough to take her up on it. And I would say that she was almost worth it - nice grinding at times and plenty of dirty talk - but she wasn't really working to get me off. Extras are readily available from many - perhaps the majority - of dancers.
