Decided to try the Admiral Theater...

Decided to try the Admiral Theater for the first time based on the positive reviews posted on this site, and I wasn't disappointed. Since I live in downtown Chicago without a car, I decided to take the train. An half hour ride on the Brown line took me to the last station on W. Lawrence. The #81 bus runs from the train station to the club. Since the club is less than a mile away from the train station and it was only around 8pm, I felt safe to just walk over on Lawrence street. After a 15 minute walk, I got to the club. It is a very old building, reflecting its long and legendary history. The interior of the club, however, is well decorated and quite polished. The cover was $25, which is kinda high for clubs in the Midwest. Since it's an all nude club, it doesn't sell alcohol. So I ordered a coke and sat down. There were only a few customers and half a dozen dancers in the club, but the waitress told me that's because the night was still young. The dancers were all quite decent, most of them young and slim. Within the first 10 minutes of my arrival, two dancers approached me to offer lap dances. Knowing the lap dances in this club are all air dances from reading reviews on this site, I politely declined. The dancers said OK and left me alone. Stayed there for about an hour and then took off. Overall this is a nice club, with good quality dancers and a high-end decor. Will definitely return in the future.
