While making a tour of the strip clubs in downtown Minneapolis I happened to have the occasion to stop by Downtown Cabaret. I used a free pass out of the back of the CityPages directory (dispensed free on street corners; I highly recommend using this option). This appears to be one of the nicer clubs in the city with a cavernous interior adorned with very posh decor.

There were not a ton of girls working this particular evening, perhaps less than ten. They varied a good deal in terms of body type, ethnicity, and age which I thought was interesting for a Friday evening shift. Many of the girls had tons of tattoos, so be aware of that if tattoos are not your thing. The stage was impressive in terms of the colors and light show but there wasn't a pole; the strippers just did mostly ass-shaking.

A couple of the dancers stopped by to sell dances but they were quickly deflected. Even though there didn't seem to be very much available in the mileage department, I got the feeling that some of the girls would be open to the idea of OTC if given the opportunity. The girls appear to be open to newcomers, so if you aren't a regular you can get some decent attention here. Be prepared to get hit with the canned questions and routines though.
