I've been here a few times...
I've been here a few times always trying to just understand the place... It has the feel of a Klondike saloon, which is basically what it is. It's been open close to a century, and in that time NEVER held a liquor license. According to the guy who sells $5 bottles of water, they used to sell booze, but on the DL, and they stopped that "for good" a while back.
The girls there aren't what you'd get at diamonds or Eden, but often enough they're still good. The biggest plus I think that this place has is that you pay $20 a song to the dancer, rather than the bizarre Alberta approach where you pay a cashier a whole bunch of money to be shorted in the booth. I have always preferred the Ontario / Quebec model of $20 a song vice the Alberta foolishness, so this place is a win to me.
Always a cover, but check it out. Do some pre drinking and come here to sober up a bit before continuing or shutting down for the night.
