Came in on a Friday night...
Came in on a Friday night from around 11-1AM. The physical club itself is gorgeous, everything is brand spankin' new, and looks very posh. As a dancer, I was shown around and quite pleased with everything I saw facilities-wise. I did speak the manager, and they seemed to be on top of things as well. The food and drinks are great! The dancers range from a 6-8. I can't say I was honestly all that impressed by the girls I saw there, but I am going by big city major club standards.
I actually went into Scores the next day (Saturday) and worked. It's not like the clubs I'm used to (from Atlanta) because it never really picked up and got super-weekend-packed but there were definitely enough customers to have a decent atmosphere going. The Saturday night lineup looked much better than the Friday night lineup - I'm told it's because Saturday nights are busier. Anyway, all the dancers seem very happy with working here, and I enjoyed my night here as well. For such a big club, I'm surprised there weren't more dancers working, but I suspect that they just haven't hired on many girls yet because the club is so new.
Stage shows aren't the main attraction here. Most of the girls don't do anything too crazy on the pole. I don't blame them... the 30 foot stainless steel spinning poles are deathtraps. (I'm speaking as a dancer who has danced on chrome, brass and powder coated poles - stainless steel has the least grip and is the most difficult to dance on.) There are no floor dances, just dances in one of the 31 VIP booths upstairs, at a standard $25/song. The booths are quite private, curtained and soundproofed. The managers told me they make an effort to keep this a clean club, and I am very happy about that.
