I visited the Crazy Horse the...

I visited the Crazy Horse the last week of June 2014. Normally when I am in SF I visit the Gold Club, which is a classier place with a full bar and lots of attractive women who will charge you a lot for not very much. I was tired of that. Lured by the seductive promise of higher mileage as advertised in Yelp reviews (for I had not yet found TUSCL), I ventured into the seedier territory of the Mission to see what I could get at Crazy Horse.

Crazy Horse is a lot less attractive than Gold Club. No bar. There is one stage with chairs around it, and if you hang around girls will come and try to sell you on a semi-private lap dance or a fully nude private lap dance. There seems to be a warren of private rooms in the back for the latter. These had paper towels rather obviously provided, but strangely they were not as gross as all that. Or maybe I was just up for anything at that point.

Was it a success? Yes and no. No, because I didn't get what I had hoped for, which was that the girls would proposition me to get me off for some amount of $$, which I hopefully could negotiate down to something reasonable. They didn't do that at all, contrary to what many reviews had said. In fact I was left asking them if they would help me out, and they basically said no--that I was welcome to get myself off, but that was as far as they could go. Whether I was unlucky, or there on the wrong night, or didn't know the best way to proceed, or whether this was how it was these days, I couldn't say.
