I used to be a huge fan of this club back in the day when the dancers were hot, the bouncers cool , and it was a good value. Unfortunately the past year and a half has seen everything I used to like go downhill drastically. The Champaign room seats are very uncomfortable compared to the old leather couches, the lighting is creepy and cold, and the incessant interruptions from the bouncers destroy any chances to relax. Even the floor dances stinks since the DJ's clip the songs at 2 to 2-1/2 minutes, a 3 minute long song is very rare, and given the usual 7-10$/dance charge its a pretty big rip off. Now that Venom is getting better dancers, and let the songs run 3-4 minutes, I'm avoiding the Boat until they wake up and fix the defects.
