After a daunting experience at Sammy's in Pcola, I didn't want to write off all strip clubs in town. One night I found myself in downtown Pensacola for a concert at the Civic Center. After the show some friends of mine headed to a bar on the beach, and I opted out and headed to Arety's for a little SC Recon.

Arety's is more of a honky tonk bar that has dancers. It's very bright and big, and they blast rock and country at almost concert levels. They have a main stage and a smaller stage or two for the crowd really gets going. The night I was there it was just at the point between being a slow night and being a bit busy, as groups of people would matriculate in and get tables. I got there at about 11pm on a Thursday.

I got a seat at the bar and got a beer. From the bar, you can turn around and see the main stage. This would be my place of observation for the night.
