Sammy's in Pensacola is right on...

Sammy's in Pensacola is right on E. Gregory St. in downtown, close to McGuire's Irish Pub. I stopped in here on a Friday evening after my flight had just landed in Pensacola. I needed to unwind, and I had never been to any strip clubs in Pensacola before. I had always heard Sammy's was the best in town, so I wanted to check it out.

The club itself is pretty nice. Not large but not really small. They have a pretty big bar and ample seating to see the stage. The drinks were strip club prices, so $5 for a beer. That's all I drank, I couldn't tell you hard liquor prices.

The talent was there. There were some real stunners on shift, though the place wasn't really packed, it was still early evening. I got in around 7pm and sat down and had a beer. It wasn't too long after that, a blonde, about a 7, sat down and started chatting me up. We mulled over the usual, first time there, am I married/single, same old tired small talk. I asked her if she'd like a drink, and she kinda got this worried look, and then told me it would be a $12 charge for me to buy her a drink. $12 freaking dollars!! I passed on that shit and ordered myself another longneck. She also informed me I would have to pay $25 to have her sit and chat with me while she drank, in addition to the drink fee. Are they kidding? I have to pay to have a girl sit at my table and drink and there's a fee for each? Jesus Christ, this was already looking bad.
