Stopped into SSJ on a Tuesday...

Stopped into SSJ on a Tuesday fairly early, which was a mistake. They only had 3-4 women dancing, so they were rotating up on the stage every 15 minutes. You were less likely to get hit up for a dance, but the ladies were getting hot/thirsty, so they were hustling for drinks instead. (There seems to be a minimum number of drinks that the dancers have to buy. Seems rather strange to me...) More dancers rolled in around 9:30 -10, and it picked up then. It was a reasonably big crowd for a weekend, with 25-30 customers in there most of the night. There were 3 couples in the club, and one customer who looked like she really wanted to be working there instead of tipping. (Females do get a fair amount of attention as customers.) There were a number of dancers who just rotated doing the "want a dance" number, but you could actually have a decent conversation with a dancer if you tried. (Austin, Victoria, and Taylor all are of the decent dance, lacking in conversation model. Taylor seems really awkward/insecure walking among customers, but dances well) Eve is a fun, intelligent woman, but is so petite that she might not be what you are looking for at a strip club. She plays up the "little girl" look, even though she isn't that young. There were mostly white dancers, with 3 blacks mixed in. Cassandra was a cute black dancer who gave great couch room dances, but was quite a talker! (Mixed up with Daryl? What a mess...) Nadia was a cute looking brunette who got a lot of attention from the crowd, and was in the couch room half the night. There was even an older, curvy blond who danced to classic AC/DC. A fun change from the predominately rap that was played. Not the greatest looking bunch, but if want a decent looking woman to grind with you instead of air dance, I haven't found a better option in North Carolina.

If you just want to sit at the rail and tip dollar bills, you can have a great view all night and not spend a ton of money (All nude, usually on the second song). Some of the dancers will make a lot of contact with customers on stage, some only show off their bodies. The couch dances in the back are decent to good grinding, but the no-touch rule makes it suffer greatly compared to clubs in South Carolina, and they do keep the g-string on. Someone does check in the couch rooms each dance to make sure no "extras" are going on. It is such an open room with the couches facing each other, I don't see how much could be happening in there. I've heard rumors about outside the club possibilities, but have never pursued them. The limo is gone, so anyone foolish enough to pay for it won't be happy. The club stayed full until around 1 am, when it emptied out considerably. There is no negotation for dances, and the 2 for $40 on Tuesdays is still in effect. A decent place to hang out, and you can manage to not spend a bundle and still have a good time if you want.
