Wackos is one of the top three clubs in Jacksonville, perhaps one of the top two. I have visited many times during the day shift and few times during the night shift. I'll concentrate my review on the night shifts as I have already reviewed the daytime visits. First of all, Wackos is very easy to get to as it is just one block off I-95. On last Saturday night the place was packed and there were perhaps 50-60 customers and about 50 dancers (not all got on stage). Good mix of ages and sizes, but mostly 25 and over. Most of girls were white with few Hispanics. No cover during afternoon and nighttime cover is $5 and drinks are about $5 each and water bottle is $4. Parking can be difficult, but safe. Customer base are middle aged or older and appear to be middle class. Girls wear bikinis on stage, but some girls take the top off or at least expose boobs. Tops always come off in the VIP section. There are 3 stages and dancers rotate one dance per stage. Most of the patrons gather around the bar and not around the stage. As they should, the girls concentrate on getting VIP dances. At $30 per dance, the dance price is steep even when compared other clubs in JAX. But many of the dancers will do discounts for multiple dancers 3 for $75 or 4 for 100 and they may include liberal playing with the kitty. VIP are is not particularly private, but isolated from main area. Privacy issues does not seem to deter the girls so much. Good mileage can be had in the not so private VIP area. Good VIP experiences with Mimi, Scarlet and Brea. They offer good two way contact. Even though club has unattractive private booths and VIP dance prices, interaction with dancers are positive and there are a good selection of them. I will visit again and strongly recommend you try this club. My comment about the club is: too many girls, too little time and too little money to enjoy them all!
