Checked out JPs awhile ago and was very disappointed based on my visit. I walked in with no cover, but the downstairs was roped off, so everyone had to go upstairs. When you walk upstairs, the stage above you has a glass floor, so you can look up and see a girl dancing which is pretty cool. I forget how much the beers were - I think $7.<br>

Anyways, this is DC so of course there are no lap dances and you are basically paying to watch a girl dance who won't even sit on your lap when she comes off stage. Her dancing was mediocre at best and after the dances, the girl came around asking for tips since no guys seemed to want to go up to the stage. I expected much hotter for this club and a place where looks are everything since nothing else is permitted.<br>

Since I got there early, I got a seat against the wall and there was plenty of space around the bar. As the night progressed, the bar filled up and all of a sudden a bouncer came over to me and said "I know you've been sitting here for awhile, but this table is reserved... you can go over to the bar" Really?!?! You couldn't have told me that when I got there so I could have grabbed a seat at the bar. Now the bar had no seats and I was getting kicked out of my one spot. The downstairs was still closed, so unless I wanted to stand in front of the stage like a fool, there was no space for me. I slammed down my beer after paying probably $50 in drinks and a good amount in tips and walked out, never to return again. The only positive reviews of this place on tuscl must be from guys who have never been to a real strip club before... or who didnt have a bouncer bitch them out for sitting in a "reserved" spot. Save your cash and go to a PG strip club.
