This is a follow-up to a recent review that I posted. I stopped by the Alpine on a recent trip to Syracuse, despite a mixed experience the last time, and I'm glad I did.

On a previous visit, a dancer told me a private dance was $20. I paid at the bar and went in back for a very nice dance. Afterwards, she asked for another $20--the idea being that the $20 paid at the bar was for the use of the room (or somesuchthing). On this trip, a dancer confirmed that I was lied to last time. One private dance does, indeed, cost $20, while $40--which is what I paid six weeks earlier--would get me two dances, not counting any tip, of course.

I was very happy to find an honest--and very hot--dancer after my last visit, which tells me the problem was with an individual and wasn't part of the club's culture.
