Hurricane Betty's is a very run local club. I wrote a favorable review of this place a few months ago after visiting it on a weekday night. I stopped back severval times since on the weekends and have been delightfully impressed. The number of dancers increases on the weekends to about 8-12. All the girls were very attractive but none had a princess attitude. If fact, it's a very low-pressure, low hype environment and the girls don't pump you for stage tips that aren't offered or hustle you for table dances.

The place is packed on the weekends with a balanced mix of clientel, both college kids and middle age. The only down side is the paucity of parking. Don't use the small lot behind the club, you'll get blocked in. Best to park on the side-street, Lafette, if I not mistaken.
