Definitely definitely NOT my style. Walked in, paid mandatory cover, and walked out 10 minutes later.

This place had rows of guys sitting theatre style just watching a stage where a lone woman was dancing. Girls would come down and sit next to them and try to entice them to go for value added services -- private dances and the like.

I couldn't really get a handle on what this place was, but then I got a "tour" from one of the dancers. She showed me the private dance area, where you buy tokens for dances. There were booths where you could get "a bit more private" dance, complete with kleenex dispensers on the wall (YUCK!).
