This place, once almost 5-star, is...
This place, once almost 5-star, is still going downhill, but there’s few options in town. Thugwear now allowed, that should tell you something. There’s still that core group of dancers in total scam & bullshit mode, claiming they get paid $500/hour just to sit and talk, verbally abusive to non-high-roller customers, refusing to do 2-for-1 feature dances, bullshitting customers that if they make it rain such-and-such will happen later, etc. Even though the club has gone back to $30/dance, this bunch just lies to the customers and tell them it’s $40/dance or demands more money on the side. It says $30/dance right on the table tents, btw. High-end customers aren’t going to put up with that kind of arrogant con shit for very long. So it’s no wonder most of the big money and the $100k cars in valet have disappeared over the last two years. Instead taxi vans roll in at 2am -- for no-booze after-hours fun -- filled with packs of 18 year olds that got drunk before they arrived. Kids that have no money except to pay the cover -- then just stumble around the small after-hours space and clog it up. The core group of bad-attitude dancers is surrounded by a larger pack of mostly inexperienced dancers trying hard to squeak out a living from the leftover crumbs. They don’t understand the business so their leeway in dance delivery isn’t up to speed. Plus I figure they are getting bullied by the core group to get in line with the scamming. With all that going on the turnover for these non-core dancers is going up -- and appearance-wise their quality is going down fast. For experienced clubbers, there’s still a good experience to be had here -- but there’s about seven tons of crap to be waded through in order to get to it.
