I decided to check out Secrets....

I decided to check out Secrets. I had known about it for a while, and saw some reviews on the net before I went. The club is in a small strip (no pun intended) mall type of location with a few other businesses. Secrets evidently has an affiliation with the club next door to it (traditional bar with food and bands club) and the cover is good for both places. As you walk into the door, the bar is to the back left, with pool tables to the left of the entrance. The single stage is to the right, with seating further in. Private area is in the back, separated by curtains with nice leather looking (probably faux) couches in the private dance area. No DJ, all music comes from a jukebox which the dancers queue up for songs.

I believe that cover was 4 dollars, and longnecks were $2.50, great values for the place. Lap dances are $25 per, or 3 for $50, so a little more than what I normally see for an individual dance, but a decent bargain on the 3 dance deal. Of course they have drink prices to buy a lady a drink, and prices for amounts of time in the Private dance area, none of which sounded horrible. As I recall, 45 minutes was $105 or $110; far cheaper than many other club's VIP prices.

The dancers come in many shapes and sizes. Only a couple were to my taste, and they did not come in until later. Numerous girls would approach and ask if I wanted a dance, but none were pushy. The biggest hustle was actually the girls bumming dollar bills to feed the juke box so they could go on stage. All of the girls were friendly, as was the female bar tender. They did not have a door man on at the time, so the bartender would call people who came in back to the bar to pay cover. The club was slow that night, but all of the dancers seemed to be in decent spirits (which can be unusual on a slow night.)
