I went here specifically to see...
I went here specifically to see one of my favorite dancers from another club. I'd heard this place was small, but I wasn't ready for what I saw when I went inside. It's literally the basement of a house with a bar setup in it. Once you make your way to a seat, it gets a bit better. I went there on a Friday afternoon (about 4) and it was already starting to get crowded. (Though, given the size, 10-12 patrons makes this place feel like it's filling up.) The pole is on a raised surface. The space between the pole and floor was probably 6 foot, maybe 6'2" at most. I'm pretty sure I'd have to duck if I was walking in that area to avoid hitting the ceiling. With the exception of a dreadlocked girl named Lilith, no one even attempted a pole trick. (Lilith, using some sort of black magic, was able to get herself spinning upside down on the pole.)
When I was finally ready for a dance (with Lilith, the girl I'd come to see), we went up this very tight spiral staircase and emerged in a large room lined with couches. No sort of division or anything, just couches sitting out in an open room. It's somewhat awkward to get a dance in a room like that. Next time, I intend to try out one of the VIP rooms. (Which I'm assuming are just bedrooms in the house.)
Overall, this place is pretty nice. You'd probably not want to go there during busy hours because it's like being packed in a can of sardines. However, it is pretty nice when it's a little bit on the slow side.
