It was Friday evening and your homeboy Slick happened to find himself in the City of Industry. Why you ask? Because I was dropping off a family member in Hacienda Heights after leaving Dodger Stadium. Sad to lose the home opener. Oh well. Win or lose, I knew I'd be a winner in the COI.

Although I originally had my eyes set on Synn, my libido started wandering into the direction of Monarchs. I've never been to Monarchs. After they shut down HT, I was adamant about never returning. After much thought, I made my peace with change(change is inevitable), and said yes to Monarchs.

As I made that left hand turn from Hacienda onto Gale, excitement and anticipation electrified my body. It's been a few years since I've been here, and like the prodigal son, I've returned. Looking around a packed parking lot, I found my spot and headed into the club.
