I went to King of Diamonds...

I went to King of Diamonds on a weekday in the early evening. It is only a mile south of 494 and feels sort of out in the country, but it is easy to find and has a nice big parking lot. Inside it definitely has the feel of a big 'ol neighborhood bar and although there were probably 25 patrons in there it felt like everyone was a regular and sort of knew each other (and the girls) from hanging out there. I am in strip clubs of every description frequently, but I felt a little out of place in there. Anyway, the beer was reasonable so that made everything better, but the bartenders were not friendly at all. When you first walk in there is an area with a bunch of tables almost like a restaurant. The back half of the building has the stage area and soft chairs immediately surrounding it, and small tables on the outer rim on three sides. This is where a lot of table dancing takes place. There are lots of seats here and there for table dances. I went to the back for a few private dances, and that is a row of couches looking at little mini stages with curtains between the stages. Not very private.

The dancers here were every shape, size, and color which was really nice. They are friendly enough, but move around fairly quickly unless you get them stopped by having them dance for you. Not much small talk or BSing going to happen. I got a few table dances from a very hot dancer out in the main area, but it was very low mileage. Back in the more private area the mileage was much better but it was all one way, and they made sure of that. I am surprised at the reviews stating this club is the best in the Minneapolis Metro area, I have a lot more fun and get a LOT more physical at several places downtown.
