Golden Eyes is now called Red...

Golden Eyes is now called Red Diamond. Not sure if it is under new management, but the physical layout of the club hasn't changed very much since the GoldenEyes days. The club is very dark. There is a bar along the right wall as you walk in, and a non-elevated dance floor in the middle of the room, with couches arranged around the dance floor. When I was there, there were about 20 or so guys and an equal number of dancers milling around the main room. Most of the couches were occupied. There is a private dance area on the opposite side of the dance floor from the entrance.

The dancers are from all over the place, but it seemed to be mostly eastern europeans, colombianas and dominicanas, ranging from 4 to 8. A couple of Russian looking girls were sitting on a couch against the wall chatting and looking like the wanted to be anywhere else in the world than there. For the most part, the dancers did not look to happy or enthusiastic about what they were doing. One girl from Moldova approached me and chatted for a few minutes, then asked if I wanted a dance. Even though she wasnt particularly my type, I said sure, and we went back to the private area. Her dancing was not great, and I was ready to move on after a couple of songs. There really wasnt much else there to look at, so I left.

Overall, the experience was not great, and I would not go back. I would prefer to spend my time at the Platinum Room where the girls actually seem to enjoy what they are doing.
